Caring for the retired priests who have so selflessly served others . . .

. . . men whose lives have embodied the very essence of giving, and from whom we have learned firsthand what it means to sacrifice – for they dedicate their own lives, on our behalf, as an offering to God. From our baptism to our first communion to our final goodbyes, we have entrusted our souls into their loving hands.

There comes a point when we, as a Church, must care for the priests who have cared for us. As a result of the sacrifices they have so willingly made, priests have limited personal resources and no spouses or children to provide for them as they age.

In a spirit of love, we must care for our senior priests as we would care for our own families - for indeed, they are family. Through your generous gifts, these faithful men can have a comfortable and dignified retirement.
